Read an Article:
This section of GT-CyberSource allows users to search for full text articles. Full text articles are the complete text of various print publications, such as book reviews, interviews, and articles from newspapers, journals, and magazines.
Search by ONE of the following:
- Title & Description: This field searches the title and description of the article
- Author's LAST Name: This field searches for articles by the author's LAST name.
- Full Text of Article: This field searches within the actual text of the article.
- Full Title: This field requires users to enter the complete title in order to successfully locate their article of interest.
- If applicable, correct punctuation is required for the Full Title field.
(For example when searching for the article "Learn, Baby, Learn" the commas are required to successfully locate the article.)
Find a Resource:
This section of GT-CyberSource allows users to search for various resources.
Search by Keyword:
Type a search term or combination of terms in the keyword search box and click the "Go" icon. For best search results, please use entire words.
Search Within Results:
After obtaining results from the original search, you have the option to search within the resources displayed using the provided fields. If you want to begin a new search, you must return to the original Keyword Search using the back button.
Advanced Search:
This section of GT-CyberSource allows users to expand or narrow their search using the provided fields as well as selecting "and" or "or" indicating that the keyword is mandatory or optional.
Advanced - Read an Article:
Search using one or more of the following fields:
- Title & Description: This field searches the title and description of the article.
- Full Text of Article: This field searches within the actual text of the article.
- Author's Last Name: This field searches for articles by the author's LAST name.
- Additional Information: This field searches information such as the publisher and the publishing date.
In addition to the fields above, the user has the option to select "and" to require another field, or select "or" making the field optional for the search.
The user may further refine their search using the drop down fields. The drop down fields are necessary when searching within the section "Search Additional Information".
Advanced - Find a Resource:
Search using both of the following fields:
- Title & Description: This field searches the title and description of the resource.
- Additional Information: This field searches information such as the web address, source information for the resource (Address, city, state, zip code, phone number), publisher and/or author's last name if the resource is a book, etc.
In addition to the fields above, the user has the option to select "and" to require another field, or select "or" making the field optional for the search.
The user may further refine their search using the drop down fields. The drop down fields are necessary when searching within the section "Search Additional Information".
